1. Introduction

Rank Bar (Service) is an online shop owned and operated by Venerite Enterprises, LLC (Venerite, we, our, us) that sells physical goods, including BJJ belt keychains, to buyers in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service or visit our website at therankbar.com. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Order information: name, email address, shipping address, items, belt color, and the amount paid. At checkout, Stripe also collects a billing address and the payment card number, or PayPal collects the PayPal account and shipping address. Card numbers and PayPal passwords are not stored on our server.
• Account information: the email address you use to request a sign-in link, and the orders tied to that email.
• Reviews: a star rating and review text from a verified buyer. We store the review with the checkout email. The public page shows a first name and last initial from the shipping address, not the email.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form, and the email and belt color you submit to the restock list. Those messages, and a sign-in link you request, are delivered as email. They are not kept only in the shop database.
• Usage data: log files, IP address, device information, browser type, and pages requested.
• Cookies and tracking: a cart stored in your browser, a sign-in cookie if you use an account, and, on therankbar.com, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.

3. How We Use Information

• To take, pack, ship, and support orders.
• To give the U.S. Postal Service the name and shipping address on an order so it can deliver the package.
• To send order, shipping, and refund email.
• To process payment through Stripe or PayPal.
• To show reviews from people who bought the item.
• To answer messages and restock signups.
• To measure visits on the production site.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR), we process Personal Data on the following legal bases: (i) performance of a contract; (ii) legitimate interests; (iii) compliance with a legal obligation; or (iv) your consent.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

• Service providers: Stripe processes card payment, including the billing address and card. PayPal processes PayPal checkout, including the PayPal account email and shipping address. Cloudflare delivers order, shipping, and refund email and sits in front of the website. Contact messages, restock signups, and sign-in links are emailed through a separate mail service we use. The shop is hosted on a server we operate. Google and Meta receive analytics events on therankbar.com. These providers are bound by their own terms and confidentiality obligations.
• Shipping: the U.S. Postal Service receives the name and shipping address on the order so it can deliver the package.
• Legal compliance: to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, provided the recipient agrees to honor this Privacy Policy.

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS for the shop, restrict access to order records, and do not store payment card numbers or PayPal passwords. Stripe handles card data, and PayPal handles PayPal account data, under their own security programs.

7. Data Retention

We keep order and shipping records for as long as needed to ship, handle returns, resolve disputes, and meet tax and accounting duties. A sign-in link expires after 30 minutes. You may ask us to delete a review or a restock signup. We may keep a record of a deletion request where the law requires it.

8. International Transfers

We store and process data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S. and the application of U.S. laws.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• Ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
• Opt out of the restock list by contacting us. Order email is part of the purchase.
• If you are in the EEA/UK, exercise your GDPR rights by contacting us (see Section 13).
• California residents may request disclosure or deletion of Personal Information pursuant to the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel on therankbar.com may count as sharing for advertising measurement. To opt out, contact [email protected].

10. Third-Party Services

Checkout is provided by Stripe. The production site loads Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services; please review their policies independently.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us, and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the date above. Changes are effective when posted.
